Eric Lombardi

Eric Lombardi is a French photographer who currently lives in France, in the French Alps. He is a lover of nature and wide open spaces. His Landscape collection has been shot in Panoramic format, which extraordinarily matches as close as possible, what a human eye can experience. His passion and desires for adventure have led him across the American continent, from  north to south and beyond. Including travels through continental Europe, Ukrain, Russia and further exploring his native France.

While traveling, he started to include in his work people he met along the way. Incredible characters for an incredible experience which has driven him to focus more and more on portraits. As such, portraits have gradually become the biggest part of his photographic work.

The singular techniques he captures in his photos have gotten him invitations to exhibit his work in Paris, Grenoble, Bassano del Grappa (IT) and in South Corea in 2020.

Capturing with his camera a look, an emotion, or a simple unexpected moment. He possesses an uncanny ability to tell a story through atmospheres, portraits and cinematographic scenes. Eric’s photographic style is committed to restore the magic, poetry and energy that a scene, a moment, or a ray of light inspires in him.

“If there is no emotion, if there is not a shock, if you do not respond to sensitivity, one should not take a picture. This is the photo that takes us.” – (Cartier Bresson)
